OUR STORY

We started working on the Spiritual Spoon France after hearing about this project in the United States for Feeding South Florida. I decided to gather a group of ten teenagers like myself, and go to restaurants to make a donation for their customers, asking them to buy 1 spoon for 1 euro and redirect this money toward Les Restos du Cœur.

 

Facing difficulties putting into place this project in France, we have organised another way of charitable giving through spoons by being able to buy a spoon at the counter of restaurants for whatever change the customer is willing to give in exchange for the spoons. We then collect the money twice a month.

This project started in 2021 after Covid 19 impacted families in France. With multiple lockdowns and restrictions, the country was faced with economic disruptions, leading to unemployment and food insecurity. Everyone working on this project is committed to making the world a better place.
